I just heard about Jane and I'm incredibly saddened by the news. I knew her for a while in the late 90s/early 00s. She interviewed me for a GA Trust internship and I remember having really great conversations. My condolences to her family.

I have thought about Jane often since the news of her death. I have such good memories of her. Working for the Ky Heritage Council, we often traveled together. We talked of many things. Her family was a frequent subject. So proud of her girls and full of hope for them. Scott, strong by her side is my memory. I learned from Jane. I thoroughly enjoyed knowing her. She altered the course of my life. I'll not forget her. Please accept my condolences

Brooke, the description of your mother's accomplishments is impressive. I am very sorry for your loss, and clearly she was taken from this world at too young an age. Although I did not know her, I suspect you have many of her qualities, which means she was pretty special. My deepest sympathy to you and yours now and in the long journey through grief toward wholeness. Connie Baugh

Dear Scott and family-- I am so very sorry to read of Jane's death. You have my sincerest condolences. We knew each other through historic preservation circles back in the 90s, and shared good times, bottles of wine and many laughs from her great stories. I still tell one in particular, giving her full credit. She was quite a devoted and knowledgeable preservationist and we are the better for her dedication. My deepest sympathies to you all.
