Dear Bob,
We are so sorry to learn that Midge has passed away. She and you and all of your family have been very much in our thoughts and prayers in recent days.
We are so grateful to have had her as our next door neighbor for these many years. Her warm friendship and zest for life have been an inspiration to us. We have not been able to be at Wabigama for three years for reasons of healtth, but that does not dim the wonderful memories of times together (including the only time George ever broke 90 on a golf course, at Twin Birches with Midge and you.)
We send our deepest sympathies to you, Rick, Ellen and all of your family, and will continue to hold Midge in our hearts.
With love to all of you, Shirley and George Rinder (Burr Ridge, IL)

Dear Bob and family,
I knew you a little bit through our overlapping visits to Quito, and especially to Advent St. Nicholas Church. I am so sorry to hear this news...I've been back in the Chicago area for 2 years and occasionally wondered if you might still be in this area. I think of Marge as delightful, upbeat, inspirational, and have no doubt those qualities shined during her illness as well. Love and prayers, Nan Shorey

Bob, Ellen, Rick & family: We have had 35 years of friendship at Wabigama: she was my favorite friend, and you all were like family. I know it meant so much to her to be able to go to Wabi one last time. She was a special, loving woman who made this world a better place. I wish we could come to the services, but we will be there is spirit. Much love from Barbara and John Locke

Dear family of Midge,
I met Midge at our Gyn-oncology support group at the Loren Smith Center. She was one of the first people I met at the group. One of the the things I admired about her from the very beginning was her optimism and real zest for life. She became a model for me as I recovered from surgery and chemo. She always spoke of the positive things in her life, her husband and her children.
May you all find peace in the legacy she leaves behind, of a woman who loved life and lived it to the fullest.
