It is with sadness that we read of Mrs. Barton's death. My husband and I purchased their home on Spalding Drive and lived there for five years. I did not want to leave it. God bless the family.

Having met Pat at a few family functions, it was clear to me how wonderful this beautiful lady was. She lived a vibrant life and will be at peace forever.

Dear Barton Family, did you all notice how the sun came out right at 11am last Wednesday, January 11 - a day that was supposed to be full of storms. Your Mom/Grandmom/Great Grandmom was a ray of sunshine every time I saw her, so I believe that she was shining her light down on all of you on Wednesday, letting you know that she was just fine and finally back with the love of her life in God's Heaven. My fondest memory of her was at one of the charity golf tournaments, just after Jerry had performed so beautifully. I said to her, "Pat, Jerry always stares at you when he sings. I think it is so sweet!" She said, "that is because it comforts him to look at me." Wow, I never forgot that moment. They were a true love story in every sense. The funeral messages were beautiful. I know your parents/grandparents/great grandparents are so proud of all of you! Love, Leslie Hall (Greg's)
