The pain for me is just as strong today as it was 6 years ago.Stan was a true man of God and it showed in everything he did. I will be forever grateful for his guidance, his caring and his love.

I am so sad to find out about Stan's passing. He was the youth pastor at Piedmont when I was in high school and he was such a positive influence on so many young lives.

I was sitting at breakfast today (June 10th, 2015) & was curious to find out how my old friend, Stan, was doing. I am very saddened to learn that he passed away. I used to visit my grandparents in Marietta every summer. Stan, as the youth pastor at Piedmont, was such an incredibly positive role model for me during those summers. I paid him a visit once at Olive Springs church & the people there loved him dearly. I wanted to reach out to him & tell him that he left quite an impact on this West Point graduate & future physician. Rest in Peace, Good Friend. Until we meet again...

Stan was my youth pastor at Piedmont in the early 80's. He was such a wonderful person and was a shining light in our church. He will be greatly missed by more people than he would have ever imagined. He just touched so many hearts over the years. I'm so sorry for his family's loss. Lisa Stinnett McCarter, Kodak, Tn

Lynn, you maybe have met me WAY BACK when you first started dating and were married to Stan. I am on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ and we were both involved in ministry back at Kennesaw State. we both were known for our radical view of prayer. On Sunday mornings we would climb to the top of Kennesaw Mountain to claim Cobb County for Christ. He was SUCH a radiant clear witness for Christ. I wish that we had been able to keep a strong relationship over the years. he had a profound impact on my life.
I can't imagine your pain losing such a wonderful man of God, I will pray that God will fill your years with an outpouring of love and grace.

I'm Clyde Annandale's mother, Mae Annandale; I met Stan a few times and loved him. He was a true Christian gentleman and a sincere witness for Christ. I pray for the family now. God bless you all. Love, Mae Annandale

I loved hearing Stan preach while I attended WFBC in college. One of the things that impressed me most is that he remembered my name after only meeting me one time as I was leaving church. I was so impressed - how many preachers have that gift. I had been a Christian for years, but it maybe still meant something to me to know that the pastor remembered me each Sunday & that I wasn't just another face he was preaching to. He and his family always made me feel so welcome as a visitor! You are all in my prayers as you go through this sad time. God Bless each of you!

I invited Stan to lunch in 1991. We had heard of each-other, but we never met until that lunch on the Marietta Square. Stan invited me to perform twice at his Olive Springs Baptist Church and once at his Winterville church. So, all toll, we met 4 times. However, our FIFTH meeting will make up for what we missed out on in this life. Stan was my second cousin... Clyde Annandale
