A few days ago I learned of the passing of Baron Bailey Bruce McCune. As a man of arms for his baronial house, I am a witness to General McCune's remarkable life of service. He was the embodiment of chivalric virtue; the Baron's example of duty, charity and fidelity surpassed his armorial achievement. The ideals of which General McCune based his life may be lost on too many, as the world has lost its direction and no longer knows what to believe. Yet, our late Baron zealously held to what is true, pure, good and right, preserving traditions that are at risk of being lost. He created a community that not only honored its ancient heritage but placed demands on that fellowship of service to people in need. To members of his immediate family I send belated condolences and pray that his enduring memory will be a source of strength and encouragement.

Bailey helped me to become a "swan". He taught me to love myself and to "live Large".
My love and respect for him will always remain in the depth of my heart.

My General is deeply missed. He was a great friend and inspiration to me and all who loved him. It was with great pride that I served him as his Baron Bailey and in a small way as his A.D.C.in Scotland. His generosity was unsurpassed both in hospitality and in his willingness to provide a vast reservoir of information, knowledge and protocol in matters military and chivalric. I will deeply miss both my Baron and his good lady Marilyn. I am sure you will have been welcomed into the Lords cavalry by now. May you be blessed with Gods peace. My deepest sympathy to Ross and the kids. My whole family sends their love to you all.

Bailey McCune served life as a admirable community servant supporting veterans in Yorba Linda and Orange County. He respected and admired his fellow Veterans and served on the Yorba Linda Veterans Memorial Board. His orations on Veterans Day events were admired by all who were present to hear him speak and honor the Veterans of not just Yorba Linda but all Veterans who served our Country.
To the McCune family, relatives and friend we salute Dr. Bailey McCune,Jr. for his steadfast loyalty to all Veterans.
Respectfully,
