I am one of the two girls in the midst of seven brothers. Don was the kindest most loving brother any one could ask for. He would refuse to see the bad in anyone. He was a very happy man and laughed at himself when he could not accomplish certain things after the Alzheimer's took over. I look foreward to the time when I am reunited with him in the resurrection, along with my mother and brother Ricky.
Don, I will always remember you with your funny personality and your mismatch socks.
Happy trails good FRIEND.
Uncle Don was a great man. He was such a quirky, loving, and loyal uncle--the type of man who you knew would be for you no matter what. He was good for a laugh, but wasn't uncomfortable with emotion. He was genuine, affectionate and authentic, telling the people that he loved just how much he cared every day. The lesson I will take from his life is to cherish those I love the way Uncle Don cherished his loved ones. I will try to be like Uncle Don, showing my family every day that I love them through my words and my actions.
We will miss him so much!

Uncle Don, you were a funny, kind and a great Uncle. I will never forget you and your laugh. You would always call me " nephew" and then give me a big hug!
I sorry I can not attend the celebration of your life that Aunt Michelle is having for you, but you will always be in my heart. Love you Uncle Don.
Don is now in the arms of the angels what a blessing! May God bless and keep us all!!
We are going to miss Don's celebration of life ceremony but we know that Don is in the arms of the angels now what a blessing!
Don Vaught was a good, no make that great man. He was the best man I have ever known. He was my soul mate, my life, my love. He was generous, compassionate, kind, and humorous always. He was the best grandfather I have ever witnessed in my life. Don: You are in my heart and in my soul, you'll be my prayer as I grow old. You are my lover and my best friend. You're in my soul.....until we meet again.
Looking forward to seeing Don in Paradise where he will be united with his parents and brother Rick. Loved him. He was an asset to his large family. He definitely will be missed for a while til we meet again.
Although I miss my Dad beyond words, I'm happy that he is finally at peace. I will most miss his infectious laugh, and his sense of humor. Thank you to my mom for taking such great care of him, and for ensuring he left this world with dignity and grace. I love you Dad, rest in peace.
