Please know how sorry we are for your loss. We have been praying for your family and know how hard it is to lose such a special man. He was always so kind and I know will be missed tremendously!

Myra and I wish to express our condolences to Nettie and the entire Courtney family. Bob was a good friend and inspiration to us for many years. He was an honored member of our wedding party 39 years ago. We have appreciated his friendship all the years of our marriage. We last visited with Bob and Billy in February of 2013 and hold that memory, and so many others, dear.

I worked with Bob for over 25 years. Robert was my lifelong friend and mentor. Bob was my calibrator. He always supported my efforts. What most people did not know was that Bob was a great prankster. He was fun to be around. His wife, Nettie and daughter, Barbara, and family are in my prayers. Bob spent a lifetime of Pubic Service. He was a gung ho Marine to the core. He was a Gentleman and an example for others. I have many memories of Bob and his "tories". But the memory that comes to mind was when he and I were Investigating a case together. I was going to meet him early in the morning at his office. I showed up early and said to him, "Reporting for duty, SIR! and saluted. He smiled-that's what he wanted to hear-everyday. Words cannot express his loss. I will miss Robert every day. He made my life better. It was a privilege to call him my friend. Rest in Peace, my friend. God Bless your journey. Semper Fi--

Bob was a great Investigator and an even greater human being. Truly a wonderful man who had integrity and a kind heart.
