To the King family. My sincere and heartfelt condolences on your loss. Chief King was my first chief but was also a role model and a father like figure to me. As a 24 year old trainee, Chief King

would take me aside to offer me guidance and support. He was a great chief but a better person. I recently retired after 33 years of service and I credit Chief King for shaping it. I can still and will always be able to hear his voice. My prayers are with you all. God bless.

Bill was one of my best, true and loyal friends. I'll see you on the other side Bill.

Bill was Chief at the Academy when it first moved to FLETC and one of the few permanent party BP there for the first many months. I was a detail instructor, one of twenty some, to whom he provided guidance. He handled an almost impossible job very well, while maintaining his sense of humor and willingness to help all the people around him. My condolences and sympathy to his family and close friends. Knowing and working with Bill over the years truly made me better understand the true meaning of taking care of the Agents under my supervision and never forgetting, no matter the position held in the Patrol, where we came from. May God Bless Bill, Patty and their Family. You are missed Bill.
