Alan was one of the most important people in my life. I attended First Church during his entire term as minister. He married me and my late husband, Frank Arnold. When we moved to New Hampshire Alan and Kathleen were already living there and I will always cherish the times we spent together. He was one of a kind.

Alan helped me at a time when I needed help. He was a loving, sensitive human being and I will always remember him with love. Gerri Sue Lent

Alan was a true life force and a great strength to all his family and friends. He was never dull, always intellectually curious, always full of wit and wisdom. Condolences to Kathleen and all his family.

So sorry to hear about Alans passing. He was a wonderful and generous Man. He served on the Oregon State Mortuary board and Cemetery board which is where we met. I was their executive director. Allan was such a great asset and contributed so much. I heard about his passing this morning. He was a wonderful man and will never be forgotten.
