Dearest Pat I have been looking for your
address as all my cards I sent do not come back yet no answer and tonight I was thinking of the Enderlin Class 125th Reunion and wanted to extend an invitation to you and Bert to stay at my home in Fargo and drive back with me in my car. If anyone reads this please let me know where Pat is and if she would like to stay with me. Pat was my bridesmaid when Milt and I married on July l, 1951 plus she helped me pick out material for my bridesmaids dresses and sewed some of them as she was a beautiful seamstress plus a wonderful friend for the 12 years we went to school in Enderlin,ND.
My e-mail address is miltdolly@cableone.net or phone 701-293-5212 and I live at 1010 OAK ST.,FARGO,ND 58102. Please contact me is anyone reads this as I would love to keep in touch as I had for some 50 years until Pat no longer sent me Christmas cards. Sincerely, Dolly Strand (March 2, 2016)

I just heard about Mr. Johnson's death. I wanted to share with his family a blog post I wrote about him a few years ago--he was such an influence on my life, as he was on so many of his students. I lost my father last year also, and I offer you sincere condolences. http://lindenandoak.blogspot.com/2013/07/an-open-letter-to-my-middle-school.html

I just wanted to say that Mr. Johnson was one of the best teachers I ever had, he had my brother first,in 8th grade at Collins View and he still liked me... I always enjoyed seeing him all the years later.. Fondly Cori Lebenzon

Bert was an outstanding role model in my life. He could tackle and handle all situations presented to him in his life.
Fondly remembered as having all three of the Dickinson children in his classes at Collins View, and still remaining in education was a testimony to his dedication. I was able to enjoy his entire family as they often babysat for our three boys. What a wonderful father and husband and friend he was. I will miss his smile, but carry his memories in my heart forever. Enjoy heaven and one day we will join you.

My sympathies to the Bert Johnson family for their loss. I haven't seen Bert many times since high school and college, but have very good memories of him. He left too soon.
