Creager, Bryan Lee 84 June 09, 1932 Jan. 05, 2017 Lee Creager, age 84, died peacefully Jan. 5, 2017 at Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital in Vancouver, Wash. Lee was born June 9, 1932 in Glenrock, Wyo. He moved to the city of Vanport, Ore. with his family when he was quite young and was a resident when the city flooded and was destroyed. Lee attended Benson Polytechnic High School in Portland and it was while he was riding public transportation to school that he met his wife of 62 Years, Jean. Lee lived most of his adult life in the St. Johns Neighborhood of North Portland. He served in the U.S. Army and was very active in his community, Troop 52 Scout Master, baseball coach for Pier Park Little League, basketball coach with St. Johns Community Center. Lee loved to go camping with Jean and they instilled their love of camping at Timothy Lake and Barview Jetty into their grandsons. Lee is survived by his beloved wife, Jean; brother, Ray (Susie) of Boise; sons, Michael (Laurie) of Vancouver, and Paul of Portland; grandsons, Joseph of Vancouver, and Derek of Portland. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research Foundation at https://www.alzinfo.org.
