Carolyn was my first boss at Providence Portland Medical Center, where I helped her inaugurate the very first Festival of Trees, for which she was an absolute dynamo as the driving force. She was always the consummate professional and also treated you with great support and respect on a personal level. She was a great inspiration and truly of service. Condolences to Bill and the family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Winter family. May your sorrow be softened by the knowledge of Carolyn meeting our Lord. Her kindness and soft nature will lead her quickly to His side.

Condolences to the Winter family, I remember the warm greetings at Christmas time while the staff where working Silverton Hospital. Bill and Carolyn would stop by on Christmas Day and encourage and appreciate the staff working on a day they should have been with their families.
