Sincere sympathy from Edith's sister Marines in the Women Marines Association. "If the Army and the Navy ever look on Heaven's scenes, they will find the streets re guarded by United States Marines." (3rd stanza of the Marines Hymn). She has left this life to take up her new post in Heaven's detachment. Mary Broussard, WMA National Chaplain

My prayers go out to the Aanderud family as they cope with their loss. May they have all the support needed from close friends and relatives.

There were so many wonderful teachers at Rose City Park School and Mrs. Aanderud was one of my favorites. I feel lucky to have been one of her students. RCP class of '78.

Hello...Sending you my thoughts and prayers...I didn't know Edith or have her as a teacher. I am an Alpha Phi (and a teacher in Portland Public Schools for 23 years) and know the strong bonds of sisterhood stay with us throughout our lives. I am sure she was proud to be an Alpha Phi and her current sisters at DePauw will know of her passing. My sincere wish is for you, her family, to be comforted by warm memories and the knowledge she was loved by many and remembered fondly. As an Alpha Phi, she has entered the silent chapter and was welcomed into heaven by her sisters before her. Joanne Godfrey

You were loved by so many Aunt Edie and will be missed deeply. My kids will forever remember the "Frog Lady". As my husband's godmother in addition to being his aunt you will forever have a place in not only his heart but that of all of the Texas Kennewell Family. Love you to the moon. Terry & Phil Kennewell and family
