My Dad was a friend of George for many years. They met at University of Portland. As I was growing up, I knew him as Uncle George and Uncle Wally. I have a picture of Uncle George and my Dad in their WWII uniforms. He was alway such a kind man. He made me laugh every time we went to his pharmacy. I hope he will be able to meet my mom in heaven. I was blessed to have met George and am thankful to have had him as part of my life, as short as it was. We met at Trinity Presbyterian church and we live on his route to the nursery so we would have the opportunity to chat. He was always supportive and caring to me. God bless you all for your loss of such a beacon of kindness and love.

He was a good friend and neighbor. Mom ,Dad and I really liked George and his wife Louise. Jim (their son) was very involved in our lives and helped sell my folks' house. George and his wife will be truly missed.

Thoughts and prayers during this difficult time as you grieve the loss of your Dad, while celebrating the rich life and legacy he has left behind in each of you, his children. He was a such good man filled with strength and determination, who was an inspiration to many. He will be missed beyond measure. Many blessings to each of you.
