Forever in my heart, Gracie was my spiritual mum I was at the New Life camp in British Columbia in 1979, where I welcomed Jesus into my life. I was 25 and was baptised at her church. I stayed in Gracie and Kens loving home for 2 weeks, sharing in the Word and finding a living presence of Him to take home to Melbourne Australia.
In loving memory of a wonderful person. I will love you and miss you always.

Gracie and Ken had learned to love others.
Their love was unconditional, non-judgmental, and self-giving.
I know, because I was one of the hundreds of specific recipients.

Gracie was a woman who loved the Lord and loved people. She will be missed dearly, but thanks be to God that she can rest with Ken now in His presence.

Gracie had many quiet and happy touch points in my life as well as the lives of my family. She was our babysitter during her college years, was a close friend to my mother Betty Doel, and sponsored me to work at Young Life's Canadian camp at Malibu, British Columbia. She and Ken were great examples of a loving couple and Gracie's ready laughter and good spirits were always an encouragement. I last saw her at my aunt's memorial service and she still kept her sketching materials in her purse, ready to capture a moment in a life around her. I thank God for her life and look forward to spending eternity with her in Christ Jesus our Savior.

With condolences to Keith and the family,
Kathy Doel Christiansen
