I just learned of Ritchey's passing today. He and I were friends from Jr high school to early years in Eugene Or. We did several projects together from electronic music to radio plays. I always enjoyed our time together. He even got me to go cave exploring with him and some other friends. I was hoping to meet up with him again at the upcoming Aloha High School Reunion. I always marveled over how smart and inventive he was. I was very happy to see his list of accomplishments, though not surprised.I regret not having stayed in touch with him over the years. I will miss him.
May your paths beyond this world be filled with the same beauty and awe that you experienced on the Pacific Crest Trail. Annual Day Zero Pacific Crest Trail Kick Off missed you this year, and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Ray, I was saddened to learn of your son's death from Sue today. We don't expect to outlive our children, do we? You and your family are in my prayers as you work through this difficult time. May your sure foundation and great hope be in the love of the Lord Jesus who provides so much more than we can ask or think. Blessings, Lou Warner James
Our sympathy for your loss of Richey. We lost our son 9-3-12, Michael H. Burns. He and Richey were good pals in H.S. We pray they meet again and renew their friendship! Bob and Lois Burns
