So sorry for your loss, but am so glad to know that I'll see him again in Heaven! He was my Principal at Earl Boyles school and had such a big smile that I just loved him and was never afraid of him. He even talked about his wife, Mary Lou - I've never forgotten her, either! When we ALL get to heaven, what a day of REJOICING that will be! Meantime, I pray God's comfort and blessings on you all. Joe Cosby, one of a kind...and kind is how I will remember him. He always had a kind word and a wonderful smile that brightened the day. He was a delight on the piano when he would get any gathering involved in singing along. He used his talent to again bring smiles to many in retirement homes and where ever he played. He and Mary Lou made a great duo.
May God's comfort be with the family during this time and always.

We will always know Joseph Cosby as our beloved "Uncle Joe". We are so blessed to have known a man who loved his God, family and country with all his heart. So proud of our Uncle Joe who served in the Battle of the Bulge with the 100th Infantry Division. We appreciated so much your love and support as we served in the mission field and how you always welcomed us in Portland. You will be missed and remembered by all of the lives that you touched and especially by your family. We love you uncle Joe!

O.H. White was just here and told me about Joe's passing...I had not heard. So sorry for his loss. I will always remember him for his graciousness and good spirit. I loved being in the same Kiwanis Club with him. When he would play the piano, our meetings were just so much more fun. My sympathy to Mary Lou and Bob and the rest of the family.

Hi Joe, I always enjoyed having you at Cherry Blossom Seniors bridge. I hope they have bridge in Heaven and we can play and bid some slams sometime after I get there, too. Dayton Turner
