June's presence in St. Peter parish, neighborhood and Leach Botanical Garden leaves us saddened by her death. She truly shared her "gift of self" in many ways - contributing beautiful flowers and ideas to decorate our church, caring about her family & neighbors and being one of the founders of the Leach Garden annual English Teas and starting the wedding & reception programs there. Her memory lives on.

June and I served on the St. Peter Parish Liturgy Committee for several years and she was very active in the Art & Environment Committee where she was a big help in matching the appropriate altar decorations to the liturgical season. I'll always remember the beautiful trees used for the Christmas season and the "fun" of hauling and setting them up along with other decorations around the altar.

She was very knowledgeable about trees, shrubs, plants - especially those needing shade. Will miss not being able to get the latest advice on when to prune, fertilize and select appropriate shade plantings. It's on you now, Dick, to keep that library of knowledge available.

I'll keep the Jackson family in prayer especially at this time. God Bless

When someone we love falls asleep in death the memories we have of them become our treasure, may those cherished memories of a life well lived and God's promise at ( John 6:40) bring you a measure of comfort and peace during this time of deep sorrow.
