Condolences to all the Bergs. Aunt Leslie was a wonderful lady and beloved sister to our mom. I loved getting to see her at the family reunions.

Aunt Leslie was a best friend and mentor to her younger sister, and our mother, Dorothy Davies Rapp. I feel so happy and privileged that I was able to visit Leslie in the summer of 2016, and to reconnect with my cousins and childhood companions, Kristen, Jennifer and Andrea. May she rest in peace as all of us in the Davies clan cherish her memory. And God bless the Berg family.

Leslie Berg was my dearest "Aunt Leslie" and with her husband, Richard Berg, they were beloved and important to me and my family, as their daughters were about the same ages as my brother, sister, and I, and we spent holidays together all through our growing up years. Some of my dearest memories were visiting them in their magnificent home in the 'Hollywood' district of Portland where the sounds and energy of Portland were so exciting to a 10-year old from Moscow, Idaho! The music in their home was thrilling, as well, as my four cousins sang and performed, under Aunt Leslie's tutelage and direction, at county fairs and such, in sweetly gentle four-part harmonies, where "Sentimental Journey" was their signature song, and I was as entranced as a 10-year-old could be, I suppose.

I always enjoyed visiting Aunt Leslie, Uncle Dick and the Berg Girls - frequently as a pre-teen, less frequently in years after they moved to Oregon. She was always gracious, loving and loved singing; solo or in family groups. She was an integral part of our family. As the last of my Aunts and Uncles her passing marks the end of an era. I hope my generation can impart the same kindness, wisdom, humor and musical aptitude that Leslie did. Blessings and love to all.
