We had the good fortune to meet Orval at a concert with his son Darrel. Darrel was a big influence in our musical hobby life, and Orval seemed a charming fellow.

I just saw this about Hap. He was my boss at Copenhagen in the mid 70's. I was a green 17 yr old with my first real job. He taught me a lot, really a nice guy and my friend. Glad he lived a full life. My sympathies to his family.
