We have had a wonderful almost 20 yrs. of having Ralph in our family. He married Arlita, my mother-in-law later in life and their relationship enriched all of our lives. He encouraged family stories, game nights, theatre, and nights of music around the piano. And for me, Ralph and I shared our love of pickled herring and it spilled over to skeptics who eventually shared our culinary obsession. I will always raise my pickled herring to you Ralph. RIP.

Ralph was an engineers engineer. He was a first class Chief Engineer and BPA was fortunate to have him. His bio speaks for him. He had to overcome struggles when he was young and his expertise was wanted as he matured. A real success story. I've known Ralph for many years but did not know his early life. I started Washington High School the year he graduated. I liked talking to Ralph, I will miss that. My condolences to the family. Ray Foleen
