Rees was a very impressive man and attorney; very knowledgeable and experienced with estate planning law. He and Ginger were just the nicest, sweetest couple. I am saddened to hear of his passing, and I send my sincerest condolences to Ginger and the rest of his family. (I used to work at Nay & Friedenberg, where Rees was of-counsel.)

I was very sorry to hear of Rees's death. I didn't reallze he had Parkinson's Disease; He was always such a vital person. As a fellow estate planning/trust attorney and admirer of his, I met with Rees on several occasions, enjoyed his books, and enjoyed his low-keyed style of communication and his welcoming office.

I became friends with his talented son, attorney Peter J. Johnson several years ago. Peter takes after his father in so many wonderful ways, and I'm pleased to see him and Laura back in Philadelphia doing what he loves at The Pennsylvania Trust Company.

My sincere condolences to the family, and I hope I have reminded you of how well-respected and well-liked your husband and father was.

Take care, and all my best,

Dear Reese and Maryanne, I have visited your home for several years as your in home physical therapist, and always enjoyed a warm welcome there. In the beginning Reese was still using the stairs to his study and walking around with little assistance. He was diligent in his home exercises and this helped him for a long time. Alas, Parkinson's is relentless and over time I watched him weaken, with Maryanne ( Ginger) always faithfully at his side. Ginger, I know Reese is now happily running and hiking in the Heavens, making up for all those lost hours on earth; probably helping other angels with their legal affairs and watching over yours. Blessings and peace to Reese's family and good health and courage to Ginger especially. I love you both,
Inger Easton PT
