My condolence to Jean Spraker and her daughter Caitlin. I was searching for Jean Spreaker before I found that Tom had been gone. Jean had been a great partner at our Oregon Multicultural Education Association. You made the organization going. How much we missed! May the soul of your beloved husband rest in peace. Would love to reconnect if you're still in Portland, Oregon. Bless you. Peace be with you and your very bright daughter.

Having recently discovered this news, I was deeply saddened to hear of Tom's passing. I will forever associate traveling through hill towns of Tuscany with Tom--he was a great teacher. My condolences to his family and close friends.

My sincere condolences for the loss of Tom. He was a good friend of my brother Barry Walker in Tupelo. We always had the greatest admiration and respect for Tom. I am so very sorry for your loss. He was a unique person. Sonya Walker (Chicago, IL)

Tom was a gifted educator and a patient and caring advisor. I'm going to miss him and his sense of humor.

I'll miss my brother-in-law. Although distance kept me from visiting often, I enjoyed his company when I did.
