On behalf of Margie Kawasaki-Ogawa's family, I send our condolences to your family on the passing of your father. My mother was very close to your father and his family during their childhood in Portland and lost touch. My mother always spoke highly of him. She is still alive and was saddened at the news. She would like to get in touch with Bryan if it is possible, and if that is possible my contact info is enclosed. My mother has wonderful stories about your father, that I would like to share with your family, so I hope someone will contact me. Again, my deepest sympathy on your loss.
Sincerely,
Jo Ann Ogawa Kruger

Remembering Way doing his vocal exercises in the morning while docked behind us at the Tarte's home in Roche Harbor...How beautiful the sounds coming from the Joint Venture!

Way was a lifelong friend of the Woody Froom family--highly respected and well-loved. Way inspired my father-in-law Woody to reach for the sky and embrace life to its fullest. He and Pearl were admired by our whole family. Their parties were real extravaganzas and fun for all of us. Our grandkids in Paris will be excited to learn that Way helped liberate France. It was great to learn about his education and his contribution to the Reed College area as well as about his support of OSU.
Way sang the Lord's Prayer at our wedding and we fully agree he was a fine tenor. My husband died from leukemia in April so we were 4 months short of 50 years together. Otherwise we would have had Way sing then just as he did at Billie and Woody's 50th!

Best wishes to all the Lee family members.

Mr. Way W. Lee built a very fine residential complex called Garden Park Apartments. His endeavor has brought much comfort and enjoyment to mamy people over the years. We thank him. The Lindquists
