Ms. Clifton, Candy and Heidi. I was really shocked to hear that Clay had passed. The boys who grew up together in Maitland were a tight group who shared many memories living adventures there. Clay was always ready and willing to go there. Roman candle and Christmas tree fights were especially crazy and Clay showed me the first large rattlesnake I had ever seen. He also was the first to surf in our neighborhood which greatly influenced both me and my brother Jon. I hope that you all find peace knowing that Clay had a wonderful life. He will be remembered as one of us boys in that hood. Peace!

Clay, you were one of my first friends when I moved to Maitland, and we had a lot of great times growing up there. I just got caught up with you a couple years ago on the phone after all these years, and now you're gone.
I am still kind of reeling about this, and my sincerest condolences go out to Candy, your mother and your wife.
Take care, my friend.
