Baltzer, George "" George Baltzer, 86, of Longwood, Florida, passed away July 10, 2013 after a valiant struggle with cancer. He was born in Rome, New York. George served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was married to the love of his life, Kathleen Brown for 63 years. George worked for the J.C. Penney Company until his retirement. He is survived by three children, Laura Delle (Frank) of Longwood, Florida, Deborah Oliva (Guy) of Harvard, Massachusetts, and Thomas Baltzer (Fran) of Montclair, New Jersey; and seven grandchildren, Christina, Benjamin, Kathleen, Faith, Nicole, Monique, and David. George had been a parishioner of Annunciation Catholic Church in Altamonte Springs, Florida for the past 15 years, where he was active in the Knights of Columbus, as a Fourth Degree, and in several ministries. He was a lector, usher, and Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist. Funeral services will be held at Annunciation Catholic Church. The family would like to extend gratitude to the Hospice of the Comforter.
