Dear Mrs. Mary and Family,

We were sad to hear the loss of Dad's best friend, Mr. Armand.

Since his passing, we have been reminiscing with Dad on stories. Dad said they lived only a mile apart but did not meet until the 1st grade of school where they became the best of friends. They had lots of memories since it seems that they did everything together. Dad said that they even went through basic training together, got seperated with their orders but managed to meet up again in Europe. Dad said that they visited each other in Germany and France throughout the 4 years stationed there. Even throughout these years, moving to another state, marriages, and raising families, they still remained the best of friends even to this day.

We have fond memories of visiting with ya'll on our vacations to New York, Ohio, and Florida. And always felt welcomed in your home.

Dad says "thanks again" to Mary for taking care of his best friend for all these years.

Sounds like he had a full and satifying life. I hope ya'll find comfort is all the memories that he has left for you as gifts to remember him by. Our thoughts are with you tomorrow as you remember him.

Sincerely,
