Dear Tina, I am grateful for the many times of celebration and friendship shared with your folks. Your dad and I solved a lot of the world's problems. Your mom relaxed and laughed with us when we shared our adventure stories. They added great joy to my life too. Love, Mary Lyons
I miss Pa's big hugs and his enthusiasm for life and conversation. I miss seeing the motorhome in their driveway and all the fun times we had traveling with them. I miss his big smile and loving, giving heart.
It was a special gift to be raised by such neat parents! Having been raised as "only" children, they knew no other way to raise their children except to "spoil" them. My brother and I never lacked for anything and because we knew we could always get "our way", we honored and respected the lives our parents were providing us. Our home was where our friends loved to visit and we spent many weekends headed to the beach with both cars loaded down with grandmothers, friends and pets. In retrospect, I do not ever remember being told "No, you can't do that," by my father. It was always , "If Tina wants it, she can have it." What a cool, fun dad! You taught me that life is what you make of it and to never, ever give up! I miss you daddy! Love Always, Tina Jean
