Linda will remain in my memory and heart for as long as I live. She was an inspiration not only to me but many others. I miss my friend!
God bless her family for their loss.
I have read the entries in the guestbook and all of them describe Mrs. T, for the most part. Mrs. T had a sense for knowing her students. I connected with her during my years at WOHS (Class of 83)to find a "let's get the work done." then "stay after class to talk". She was concerned about me and we had many more talks. The caring that she gave was just what I needed at that time of my life. I reconnected with her almost two years ago to find her still teaching. I proudly told her what her compassion meant to me and suggested that she come and visit in Alaska. Like so many others, she was a second mom who was always looking out. Kelley and family, thanks for sharing a one of a kind! To Mrs. T I wish you nothing but eternal peace as God's special Angel (we all know she fulfilled that job description here on Earth!)
Linda Tesauro was an amazing, loving courageous women. She was an inspiration to me, my husband and son. We were blessed to know her and be part of her "family". I can picture the Lord saying "well done my good and faithful servant" Our prayers to Kelly, Brad, Kim and grandchildren.
Mrs. Tesauro was a great teacher, but she was an even better person. As a student in her World History class and her European History class, she always brought out the best in me with her high expectations. As the sponsor for the National Honor Society, she was dedicated and hardworking. Mrs. T passed down values such as integrity and honor. I truly enjoyed the times my parents and I met with her to have lunch. Thank you, Mrs. Tesauro. You have made an impact on my life and have been a good friend. I have been blessed to have you in my life.
Michael V Owens Wow. Her AP World History class was the driver's permit that put me where I am today. Who the hell likes history? I still have the textbook. I loved it so much I had to move here to be closer to it...She also had a great guy (can't remember who) come a...See More
Mrs. T was an amazing teacher and will be sorely missed. I can remember the great study sessions we hadfor AP history.
Ms Tesauro was an inspiration to me. I had her for my history classes back in the 80's. She was a phenomenal woman. I am saddened to hear of her passing. She will be missed greatly. May she rest in peace in the hands of God.
I am so glad I got to visit your mom before I left for Houston. She was a special friend and helped me when I needed it. Brad, Kelly and Kim hold on to your happy memories, I promise you the sadness of today will turn into laughs of remembering. All my best thoughts are with you.
Linda will be sorely missed. She was such a WARRIOR .... And they say "once you're a Warrior, you're ALWAYS a Warrior". She did us proud. She's with Fran planning a swim meet:). We are truly sorry for your loss. The Fay Family
Mrs. Tesauro was one of my favorite teachers at West Orange. She was one of the kindest people that I ever met. My favorite memory of her as a teacher was when she encouraged our class to make the yellow ribbons in honor of our soliders in the Gulf War. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Just as a comforting thought, her living was not in vain. She touched the lives of so many of her students, me being one of them.
Mrs. Tesauro was my history teacher in ninth grade n again in 10th grade for my first AP class. She was a wonderful, kind-hearted woman n truly cared for her students. I used to look forward to going to her class each day and enjoyed the time she had spent at WOHS. The things she taught me will forever be with me n she will never be forgotten. I express my most heartfelt condolences to the Tesauro family.
Mrs Tesauro was my history teacher in ninth grade n the reason I started taking AP classes in order to have her as my teacher in 10th grade as well. She was a wonderful, kind-hearted woman who truly knew what she was teaching and I used to look forward to going to her class each day. The things I learned from her will stay with me forever and she will be missed. I express the most heartfelt condolences to the Tesauro family.
Linda and I were born two days apart, double dated with best friends in high school, and graduated WHHS together. The entries here are evidence of how special she was. You are a lucky family to have had such a mother and lucky students to have been taught by her. She was a wonderful friend.
Mrs. Tesauro was a wonderful teacher. I so enjoyed my two years with her at WOHS. May the Lord strengthen You as you grieve, taking comfort in the many lives she touched.
Mrs. Tesauro was truly adored by our entire class. She was an incredible part of my personal success. My family and I extend our deepest condolences. Praying for your peace and comfort.
Mrs. Tesauro was an amazing teacher. I didn't have the pleasure to have her as a teacher but my cousin did. One day I got to meet this lovely lady, I was sad about something and my cousin took me to talk to her. After that I started visiting her daily. She was a true pleasure to talk to. Could always count on her to make you smile.
Kelley, Kim and Brad,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Your mom was so special. I have such great memories of hanging out on Lake Butler Blvd. she was an amazing history teacher and Godly lady!

Mrs. Tesauro taught me both world history and AP European history at west orange. She was an amazing teacher and did thing to actually make learning interesting! I will truly miss her!
Linda was such a marvelous teacher. She was an inspiration to my children and to me when I had the privilege of teaching with her. I will miss you so much. My prayers to the family.
Mrs. T was easily one of the most inspiring teachers I had. She always pushed me to do better and saw the potential that I didn't see. I kept in touch even after high school. I will never forget her passion, optimism, and ability to inspire others to be the best they can be.
I was lucky to have had Mrs. Tesauro as a teacher in high school and even luckier to have her as a colleague when I later became a teacher. I'll never forget the day she sat me down and said, "Nicole, you have got to stop calling me Mrs. Tesauro, it's Linda now; we're equals." I can only hope to one day be her equal and bring as much excitement for learning to my students as she did to me.
What a lady, friend, and Child of God! It was a blessing and a joy to have known her. Grateful she is now with Jesus and no longer suffering the trials and pains of this life.
I have wonderful memories of my AP European History class with Mrs. Tesauro. She had such a love for the kids in her class, and a passion to help us learn. She held review sessions at her home and was always there to encourage us and cheer us on. What a blessing she was in the lives of so many!
My husband and I are neighbors of Linda, but unfortunately, did not know her that well. We shared at block parties and on the street, and she struck us as a lovely neighbor. We are sorry to hear of her passing. She put up a brave fight against cancer.
Linda Tesauro was one of the most driven wonderful people I have ever cared for. She had such a wonderful attitude and was hard to keep up with. She was so giving and I feel honored to have been able to be part of her life and help care for her during her illness. She was always concerned about everyone else. One of her adoring nurses.
Mrs T you was one of few teachers that Really inspired me!!! I will NEVER forget you!!!! I will miss you saying Now Sheri come on!!!!!!! RIP!!!!
Thinking of you all and rejoicing with Nana!
Ms. Tesauro was a fantastic teacher and Mom and supporter. Feel like she was always there in elementary school as a class parent, at swim practices and meets, in junior high teaching social studies, in high school history, and wherever Brad and Tommy were behind the scenes. Brad, Kim, Kelley you are in my thoughts and prayers.
A wonderful, caring, kind woman and a fantastic teacher. I'm grateful to have known her. She was such fun and had such a great spirit!
WOHS Grad of 1993
I had the great privilege of being a student of Mrs. Tesauro's in the early 90's, as well as working with her on student council. She always had a smile and encouraging words for "her kids". Her patience was boundless and her energy endless. She will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Tesauro was my AP American History teacher and took a chance on me that many wouldn't by letting me in her class when my academic record suggested otherwise. Years later, when I would be home visiting, she would say, "John Adams (she called me that because I was often disruptive - like the real John Adams), one of my 5's! How are you?" I was always very proud of that.
She was a wonderful teacher, I had her for two classes in HS. I also knew outside of school through a family friend. She was a special lady with a great smile. I was lucky to have known her. I'm sure she's teaching in Heaven.
I was so sorry to hear of Ms. Tesauro's passing. She was a lovely, sweet lady and a bright light to many, including myself. I pray that your family feels comfort, peace, and strength during this time and that you'll have many wonderful remembrances to carry you through...
You were a great teacher, and an even better colleague. You will be missed so very much, Linda.
We shared many good times and great laughs together. Lots of precious memories. She will be missed. May God's love and peace surround the family.
With love, The Harmon cousins, Ken, Ralph & Ann
She was a great colleague and a devoted teacher. She enriched West Orange HS and many students' lives.
One of my favorite teachers! Will be missed! xoxo
Mrs. T will be always be a part of my life. I was privileged to know her, both as her student, as a colleague in teaching, and as a friend. Her dedication to teaching and love of history are what inspired me to make teaching my career. To her family, my prayers are with you.
What a great lady and educator! We need more like her now than ever. Blessings and good memories to the family.
Mrs. T~ I hope you realize the impact you had on me. You didn't just teach me History; you taught me LIFE. Heaven's surely a little brighter now that you are there. Prayers to your family.
Mrs. T made a lasting impact on my education and I still remember things she taught me today. She was a great teacher and a wonderful person. She will be missed.
There was never a dark or cloudy day when Linda was around. She brought goodness to everyone and everything she touched. She loved her Heavenly Father and she was a beautiful testimony to His love and grace. I know you are dancing with Jesus right now, and you are free of pain. See you there, sweet lady.
My family and I will truly miss Linda. She was always such a positive and loving person. I always enjoyed her words of encouragement and stories. I am so glad she was part of my life.
A very loving, God fearing wonderful woman! I am praying for her family and praising God for her life!
I'm sorry for your loss, your Mom was a wonderful pereson that meant so much to so many people.
We all look forward to the fulfillment of this wonderful promise found at 1 Cor. 15:26. When death will be brought to nothing.
Mom #2 was the most positive, energetic, loving, and giving person I have ever had the honor of knowing. She was a very gifted educator and touched the lives of thousands of students at West Orange High School. She served her community with her gifts and talents, showing everyone how bright the Light of our Lord shone inside her. Thank you for being a part of our family and my Mom #2 for 35 years.
Hi. Sorry your loss mother. Pray for your family. God Bless you.
Kelley, Brad, Kim and family! Ms. "T" was the most amazing person! She touched so many lives. She was a second mom to me growing up. Heaven is shining brighter because she is there now!!!!!
