Please know that I am thinking of you and missing your wonderful father, my dear cousin, here in Florida.

I had several contacts with Dick on the Sprint program at Martin. He was friendly, down to earth and a gentleman. My sympathy to his family.
I wish to express my condolences to the family of Mr. Dowd. I would look forward every year when he visited his hometown, Lee. You could always be sure that the "Dowd boys" would be arriving for the Founder's Day weekend. I always looked forward to chatting with them. Dick was a gentleman and I will always remember him as such. Go in peace, Mr. Dowd.

I am sorry for your loss. The bible gives us hope that one day death will be no more neither will mourning nor crying. The former things will have pass away. We impatiently await for the day to see Richard again.
Dick Dowd was a beloved neighbor with a ready smile and a contagious optimism about life, even after he lost his dear wife Betty. He will be sorely missed -- and is already.
