Blessings from the staff at Hospice of the Comforter
May 30, 2012
I worked for Dr. Colvin for 16 years. Although he unarguably could be contentious, I knew him to be a man of principle and honor. He believed that people should always strive to achieve greatness no matter what the circumstances, a standard by which he, himself, lived. He was truly unique and never afraid to speak his mind or follow his own path. He was a man who earned respect from his peers and the medical community as a whole. My heart goes out to Mrs. C and the family.

Dr. Colvin prayed before each surgery ; that the Lord would
Use Him to heal his Patient. He gave all the credit for
His Surgeries to His Lord. As nurses, we never saw this with any other Surgeon. I have never forgotten him & his Faith.
Surgeon.

Dr. Colvin was our family doctor. He was a brilliant man, confident
that he could find the right diagnosis for every patient he saw.
It is amazing that he became an MD at age 23. We were lucky
to have had him as our Physician for 29 years. Our Sympathy to his wonderful family.
