My condolances to the families. We had so many wonderful summers in Balsam. She was always fun with sunshine in her smile. Jeanne Bass

Your friends in New York are with you today Michael. We've been here and send you all our love and our empathy. We take our comfort for the great lives our parents have led and the opportunities they gave us. Kerrin we send our love to you, with an extra hug for all your loving care giving. Both parents in two weeks - you and your brothers and sisters are in our thoughts. Frank & Terry.

It was such an honor and a privilege to get to know Joan. My husband, Phil, was a resident in the same facility with Joan for almost 3 years. Joan was a lovely lady with a beautiful smile and a great sense of humor. She and my husband often ate at the same table for lunch and I so enjoyed seeing them interact and enjoy each others company.
I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Kerrin, Joan's daughter and admired her unending devotion to her mother. She was there constantly with her mother and tended to her every need through all the many stages of her disease. Joan was truly blessed to have a daughter who showed so much love and affection.
My love to you, Joan. May you rest in peace.
