Marie

Our prayers are you and your family. I worked with John on several projects from the late 80's. He was a great software engineer on the projects we did. But more than that he was a good person and friend, and always had an upbeat outlook no matter what the problem was. He touched many people at work and will be missed.

Hi Marie,
May the special things about your loved one live on inside your heart forever.
With Deepest Sympathy. Ida Johnson

People touch our lives in different ways. I only knew John as a dedicated lunch time runner ... one of a select few people at the training complex who, for one crazy reason or another, chose to exercise at noon in the Florida sun. Our solo noonday running schedules varied over the years. Sometimes our paths would not cross for a week or two. But then suddenly, heading out, I would meet him as he was just finishing his run. Dripping with sweat he might say "Really hot out there today but at least there's a breeze on the backside." Other times I was the one dragging myself back in and John was the one heading out. "Careful out there today ... its really humid ... tough day for me," I would say and he would grin knowingly.

Thanks John. By example, you encouraged me to go bit faster and a bit further than I thought I could or should. And to John's family and friends ... may God bless.
