To the Walkup family, my deepest condolences to you at this most difficult time. I recognized the name Walkup in the obituary listings this week. Then when I saw the name Gintzie, I was shocked and saddened. I went to junior high school with Gintzie here in Orlando. It was during the time of the Vietnam war. So many of our friends' families were being shipped off overseas and abroad. I always wondered what happened to her and to the others. But by reading the obituary, it sounds like Gintzie had a wonderful career and helped so many people! I'm glad to have known her, and spent time with her. Think about all the lives she has touched. Well done, Gintzie!
Love to all, Jill Shargaa

It was such an honor knowing Dr. Virginia Walkup. She kindly allowed me to call her "Gentsy" as her nieces and nephew lovingly called her. Her kindness to me and volunteer asst. to me as her nieces and nephew's 4k teacher will always be held dear in my heart. My condolences and love to the Walkup family. May the Holy Spirit be your Comforter.

My deepest condolences. I had the pleasure of working with Gintzie in Orlando at South Orlando OB/GYN group, many years ago. I remember her fondly. She was a ray of sunshine and had the best personality. I am very sad to find out she has passed. You're all in my prayers.
