My belated condolensces to the Muldoon Family. I'm not sure how I missed the notice of Charlie's passing as I certainly would have been there to send him off. I have great memories from Corn Roasts out at the farm to his visits when I moved to Toronto. He was a great person and I am proud to have counted him among my close friends even though we lost track of each other these past years...he will be missed!!

To all of Charlies children,
my sincere condolences I grew up knowing alot of the Muldoon kids as they were neighbours of my late grandparents Sadie and Andy Schwerdfeger. I have alot of fond memories of dancing to the music out at the Muldoon farm in Chesterville and special occasions celebrating different milestones. He is in a better place reunited with alot of old friends gone before him making sweet music together again...
Susie I send you hugs sorry we could not have been there we were out west when Greg and JoAnn called.

I was so honored when Susan called and asked me to sing at the funeral. Unfortunately I am on the vacation and cannot be there on Friday. I will do my best to make it on Thursday for the wake. I spoke to Charlie on Tuesday at the Jam. This was such a shock.
I know Charlie is getting together with my Dad, Reg Hill, Leo Carroll, Ward Allen and all the gang playing the good old tunes.

My Mother, Theresa Gosset also sends her deepest sympathies.

Colleen Downey

To the Muldoon "kids", and dear Ellen,
Charlie was a special friend to my parents, Jim and Edna Downey, who I am sure were happy to see Charlie cross over and welcome him home. I can hear Charlie and Jim now belting out a few good ol' Irish/Valley tunes as Mom taps along with a smile on her face. I was fortunate to reconnect with Charlie about 12 years ago through the Irish Society and the friendship continued. You will miss your Dad and we will all miss him but will smile, as we remember him, knowing that he died living life they way he wanted. Rest in peace dear "Earthquake Muldoon".

Deepest Sympathy to the Muldoon Family
it is difficult to put the right words in place for a wonderful guy with a zest for life and his spirits lifted all of those around him. Like many others, we go back a long way and even to his times spent in Florida.
May you rest in Peace.

IRISH BLESSING:

May your heart be warm and happy
With the lilt of Irish laughter
Every day in every way
And forever and ever after.

It was with deep sadness that I read of Charlie's passing. I had the honour of being one of his CBC colleagues many years back and when I needed his expert advice he was ALWAYS at the ready to ensure that any project was a success. All of our dealings were captioned with a wonderful sense of humour as well as a determination to "make things work." I know his family will miss him as will so many of us.
