MANY CONDOLENCES to the Macleod family. Have only just found out that he had passed away
We knew Don many years ago when he flew into Gatwick on the Ranger Oil Lear Jet CFROX.
He was a true gentleman, kind, compassionate with a great sense of humour. He loved his cigar!!
Heaven has a wonderful pilot angel.

My condolences to the Macleod family. I knew Don in his capacity as a volunteer driver with the Ottawa Meals on Wheels program. Don was loved by all the volunteers who delivered meals with him and especially by the staff at Meals on Wheels. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and he helped save the day many a time when we were stuck for drivers at the last minute! We were very fortunate to have both Don and Betty Ann as volunteers. I am sorry I didn't get a chance to see him again.

"Capt. MacLeod" was a dear friend from the Ranger Oil days. We loved his humour and his charm, and will cherish many fond memories. My sincere condolences to to his family.

My visits with Uncle Don were always special to me as he generated kindness and joy. Since my fathers passing, Jack MacLeod, visits with Uncle Don were even more precious. My sincere condolences go to my cousins during their time of grief and loss of a loving father. Uncle Don will always have a piece of my heart. Love Janice

Uncle Don will be fondly remembered for his kindness and joy he brought to my life. Although my time spent with Uncle Don over the years were few, each one was special for me. Since my fathers passing, Jack MacLeod, visits with Uncle Don were even more special as he had that joyful quality that my father also had. I sincerely send my condolences to my cousins during this time of grief. Uncle Don will always have a part of my heart

Enid and I wish to express our condolences to Don's family. A fun time was had by Don and I. The fishing at Takla Lake BC on the Beaver with floats, a weekend in Paris on the
Lear and on and on. So much more than a boss. A friend.
Sincerely
Gary McVeigh ex Ranger Oil pilot

My condolences to Don's family. He was a great guy and a darn good pilot. He even taught me how to fly the Lear and as long as he was sitting next to me it was a lot of fun.

Our sincere condolences to Lucy and the MacLeod family in this time of sadness. Don was a very generous, warm hearted man who was married to my husband's (Mike Bowick's mother) Alison, before her too quick passing in 1988. We kept in touch over the years & shared stories with him, but not as much as we would have liked to. We will miss his warm smile and kind spirit. Wishing the family much compassion through these difficult times.

Don was my stepfather until my mother, Alison's passing in 1998. Don could be very generous and shared with my mother a happy life, that she deserved. He was a man of strong values. I'll miss him and wish I had taken the time to see him in recent years. My sincere condolences to the McLeod families.

Don was a truly wonderful man. His friendship with my father Bill was such a blessing. They enjoyed many, many years of friendship and I know that my father will deeply miss Don. I had the pleasure of meeting Don several times, and his genuine kindness and caring shone through. He had a beautiful spirit. My condolences to the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time.
