Dear Connie, Judy, Nancy and Families. My sincere condolences to all.
Doug was a wonderful Uncle and a kind, thoughtful and soft spoken man to me. He shared his many years of wisdom on many subjects, which I totally enjoyed. Audrey & I had memorable visits with Connie & Doug who always stayed overnight with us on their way south for many years and lots of phone calls back in forth. We stayed in touch and enjoyed the stimulating conversations and storytelling. Especially over a game of snooker. Lots of stories of Durant's pool hall in Smiths Falls. You will always live in my heart and prayers.

Uncle Doug had such a great way of communicating, and demonstrating the
Lords Grace by sharing with us his life of service to his Country,
and by the work he did in the service of our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ. I dearly miss my Dear Uncle Doug, and regret that I was not able to see
him after he moved. I'm so thankful my Twin Sister visited Doug April 12th, even it was a short visit. My deepest condolences to all.
Leon Conner.

Judy,Jodi,Joanne, and Johnathan:
I didn't know Doug well but I know he will be deeply missed by you and your entire family. He sounds like he was an amazing man, husband, father, grandfather, and one of God's faithful warriors. I am just blessed to have met him, and my heart goes out to you with your loss. RIP Doug and enjoy your new life of eternity with the Lord!

To Connie, Judy, Nancy, Taya and family;
We remember with much love Doug, or Uncle Doug as we knew him. He was an inspiration to all who knew him and was a powerful witness to Christ's love and forgiveness. We especially remember our visit with him last October when he shared his faith journey with us. Our loving thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
“Well done, good and faithful servant… Come and share your master's happiness”
