I am sorry to hear of Conrad passing, I will miss him.
HI Ray and Shereen,
This is Jamie, Connie's Son.
That is a great picture. I would like to get a copy of this picture as it is blurry when I try to save onto my computer. Is there any way you can send it to me ? My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you very much
Thought Connie's family might like to see this picture of him with 'the guys' sitting on an old coupe. He would have been seventeen. Good times.
Saddened to learn of the loss of Con...just Googled him this morning to find that he had passed away. We met in Grade 5 at Grant Public school and were friends for the next twenty years or so, when we lost track of each other. Going through old pictures this morning, I came across a classic...several of 'the boys' seated on an old twenty something coupe. Con was one of them, probably about seventeen years old. Made me smile. Not surprised at the words of tribute to be read in this guest book. He was a really great guy and a very good friend.
You taught me more than you could ever know, and its been in my heart and soul since we first meet. The courage to stand up for what you believe in, to never be afraid to fail, to always get up when down.
I will never forget You

I just heard today of Connies passing and it was very sad news. I knew Connie for just a few years but he was one of nicest, sweetest persons it has been my priviledge to know. Every day that I passed your house on the way to work, I looked to see if Connie was out and about and always looked for a chance to stop and say Hello. He was truly a special person, I will miss him.
Debbie and myself are sorry for the loss of connie and are condolences for you and your family

Jamie & family, We're so sorry for the loss of your father. He was a wonderful friend of ours for many years, going back to before you were born. He was very proud of you in your accomplishments and very proud of being a grandfather. Our sincere sympathies.
Clare, I'm very saddened by the loss of the love of your life. I have wonderful memories of Con going back some 40+ years. He was always so gentle and kind - a big teddy bear of a guy. My condolences to you and your family.
I met Con in 1959 when we were in our teens. We had a common bond in our love for cars (GM, of course). I'd pick him up after his football games at Tech High School and then we'd work on our cars. We'd spend hours doing whatever to make our hotrods faster and noisier. We hung out at Perrigo's on Richmond Rd. and the Royal Burger. Con spent many a weekend at my house - he was part of the family - sleeping on the floor in my room in a sleeping bag. We shared many a loaf of Prem & ketchup sandwiches made by my Mom or sisters. Weekends at the drag races in Deseronto. Double-dating. Chaudière, Ottawa House - what wonderful memories we made. We got together from time to time just to reminisce. I remember a loyal husband, father and friend. A mechanic, firefighter and fair businessman. If you worked in the car business, you knew Con. Loved and respected. I'll miss you, my friend.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Clare. I wish you much courage in the days and months to come. Lise and Jeremy

To Connie's family I wish to express my most sincere condolences. While I had not seen him in recent times, I will always have fond memories of our time spent together as Firefighters. We made several trips together for training and it was always fun to pass the time suggesting bids on wrecks we would pass along the 401. A true gentleman, friend and community minded individual. May he rest in peace knowing that he had a life well lived and loved by many. Take strength from each other in dealing with this untimely loss.

My Dear Uncle Con
I have so many special memories I was able to share with you.I was fortunate to be #1 babysitter for your little Jamie. The drive home the next day was always a long one.Con knew that I didnt have a fathers presence in my life and was always giving me the advice that I needed. We had many special little talks before I climbed down from his truck. Then he would pay me for babysitting.I would tell him that my Auntie Judy had already paid me .He would say that he knew and that was fom him. Then he would kiss me and say "Goodbye Pet"
Love you,Rest in peace
