August-12-14
I send my condolences, I met john a couple of times when I was very young his warm smile and gentle manner is my memory of john I regret never getting to know him .
July-21-14
Dan, Colleen and I would like to express our deepest sympathies -- you and your family are in our thoughts this week. I think I met your dad once or twice, and then only briefly, but he sounds like the kind of man I would like and respect.
July-21-14
July 1st 2012 was a special week end. I had the opportunity to visit with John for 3 days at his home. He had just gone through an operation and to get him to take it easy you had to tie him down. Uncles are special. John was a true example of what it was to be a member of a very close net family growing up. The whole family, mom, sisters and uncles all seem to have a quality that should set an example to us. How we treat our fellow man,how we participate in our community leading by example and what kind of legacy we leave our children to build their future on. John will be missed but John will be remembered. Let us all cherish his memories and carry them forward.
To Dan and Penny, Audrey and I send our prayers to you and your family. As the loss takes one away the memories brings one home.
July-20-14
The times I met John were too few, but the impression he left is lasting. He always comes into my mind as dapper and ceaseless, with a wit sharp enough to span the ways of two centuries. He is gone now, but my memories only seem more secure. I'll really miss my uncle John, and my sympathies are with his family.
July-20-14
I will miss John's many phone calls, including the ones he made unintentionally! Would love to have had him down this way for one more visit. Sincere sympathy to all your family.
