Proudly served for the Canadian Military overseas during W.W.II from 31/03/41 to 07/01/46 in R.C.A.S.C.; he transferred to R.C.E.M.E. on 01/11/48 to 08/06/72. Suddenly at the Kemptville District Hospital on February 6, 2014 surrounded by family
and close extended family in his 92nd year.
He is survived by his wife Brenda (nee Sharpe); sons Charlie, Robert and John; daughter-in-law Alice; grandson James; granddaughters Averie (Rowan), Alexie and Alana; close extended family Danielle,
Carol, Mario, Murray, Geoff, Patty & Jody. Survived by sister Joan (nee Spearman) Kemp. Predeceased by his father Dr. Harold Spearman (D.V.M.), mother Laura (nee Hartin); sister Marie (nee Spearman) Schnarre and brothers Charlie, Lenord and Bill. Special thank-you to all the caring
staff on L2 at the Kemptville Hospital and all the caring friends, neighbors and Richmond Legion branch 625 for all their support. A memorial service will be held at St. John's
the Baptist Anglican Church on February
the 16th, 2014, Fowler St. Richmond, Ont.
at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations
to the Kemptville District Hospital would be appreciated.
