They say each day gets easier, as of today I have not found anything easy. I miss your smile, our togetherness and our crazy road trips that were never planned. All the crazy stuff we use to do. Life with you was an adventure, wouldn't have missed it for the world. Miss you at our four o'clock in the morning coffee. Our best time of the day. Things will never be the same but the memories are wonderful.
Love and miss you.
Your wife and best friend.

Corlee, susan, sonee and jodee: As I sit here reading of Charlies passing, it brings back many fond memories of your family growing up in Midland. I remember Charlie being So full of life and being larger than life itself! Always rolling high with big smiles and kindness to all your friends that frequented your home. Though its been years since that time in my.life I have never forgotten your entire family and the fun we were able to have as guest at your home because you had such loving and kind and understanding parents. Thank you for the memories. May God bless you and your families during this time of great sorrow. The friendship, kindness and love you shared will always be with me. Peace be with you

Grandpa, I will always remember how much I looked forward to visiting you and Grandma in Clare and getting to ride out to the deer blind with you. It's very sad that we had to lose you so early, but I know we can find solace knowing that you lived a life more full of adventures and exciting experiences than most. You were always so much fun to talk to and hear about all the interesting things you did throughout your life. You never found something you weren't the best at, and that includes being a grandfather. I love you and I will miss you

Dad, I would never have believed just four short months ago I would be trying to write my thoughts on your Legacy page. The intelligent, active, healthy man I was fortunate enough to call Dad my entire life. As heartbreaking as the past few months have been, I feel so blessed that I was able to spend so much time with you. Even after you no longer remembered my name, I could still see the love and recognition in your eyes when I walked in. Thanks so much Dad, for all the hugs and all the big smiles you gave me as your time grew short. I thank the good Lord for the many good memories you leave me with. Until we meet again, I love you Dad, and I will miss you always… your Daughter, Jodee

Grandpa, you are an inspiration to me even in death. Your courage and strength carried you to outstanding heights and I believe that you passed down these defining characteristics. You encourage me to shoot for the for the moon because I am a Cassiday and that makes me not only capable but deserving of my place among the stars. Thank you for all you have blessed me with and I will not forget who I am or where I came from. I love and miss you.
