I am so very sad to know I will never see Mike smile at me or hear him say my name. He was a special gift to this world and made so many people feel special. I feel so blessed to have known him through the Safety Council and as a friend. Love and peace to all your family.

As a teacher-chaperone on 13 middle school trips to Washington, DC, I always felt our students were safer and watched over having Officer Davis along. He truly loved kids and loved life and made those around him smile. Thanks, Mike, for your dedication and care.

Mike Davis was a great man and officer! As an administrator I could not have done my job without his help and guidance. He was also a great teacher to all the children of Middletown including my own.

Shortly after Officer Davis had the cardiac arrest at Wildwood, I was at a local convenience store one morning. People were asking each other if anyone had heard about Officer Davis. Two young, still-wet-behind-the ears officers were there and one finally asked "What's so special about Officer Davis?" The clerk just looked at them for a moment and then said that he was everything a police officer should be.

She got it right.

Officer Davis, you will be missed a whole lot.

Prayers to the family I am sorry for your loss.
