MY CONDOLENCES TO THE SHAW FAMILY. NOW 54 YRS OLD, I AM A LIFE LONG BASEBALL FAN WHO HAS ATTENDED HUNDREDS OF GAMES. MY DAD TOOK ME TO MY FIRST GAME AT FORBES FIELD IN PITTSBURGH IN THE EARLY SIXTIES AGANST THE GIANTS. BOB SHAW PITCHED FOR THE GIANTS AND WILLIE MAYS PLAYED CENTER FIELD. I STILL REMEMBER THE STARTING LINE UPS FOR BOTH TEAMS. THANKS FOR THE LIFE LONG MEMORY.

Asta I am so very sorry for your loss. I remember Bob well when he pitched for the Cubs & the Dodgers. I am Ethel Fox's niece. Lucy also lives here & I will make sure she knows about Bob. All my best to you & your family.

My sympathies to the Shaw family. Bob was such a steady player, never complained and always did things the right way. Baseball was so much better because he was part of it.
