Thank you for all the good music Doc.
I saw you many times over the years.
You are the greatest guitar picker who ever lived, in my humble opinion.
First time I saw you was the first show you played after Merle passed away.. To date the most emotional show I have ever seen..
"I went down to the Saint James Infirmary.... and layed my guitar down at Merles feet...."
Rest in Peace

to the Watson family - 4 generations of my family have been blessed to have seen and listened to Doc and his wonderful music - over and over. Diane Stout (Cornelius, NC)

With deepest sympathy to the Watson family during your time of grief...Psalm 46:1...God is for us a refuge and strength, A help that is readily to be found during difficult times...May God provide you with peace and comfort to endure the days ahead.

I love to listen to Doc's music. His playing is always highlighted, as it should be. However, I love to hear his voice. His delivery is genuine. Even when the song is a sad one, his vocals always make me smile. Thank the good Lord above for Doc Watson.
