RADM Morris epitomized the phrase "an officer and a gentleman." We all shall miss him dearly. Take pride in having such a wonderful Dad.

Dear Mark, Bryce and Ralph,
I am sad to read of your Dad's passing. Your Dad gave my younger brother one of his LCDR shoulder boards many years ago, when he was a young boy, and he treasured it for years. Your Dad and my Dad were first cousins and we first met many years ago in Mattapoisett at your grandfather's house there. We may have last met up at your grandfather, Walter Morris' funeral a number of years ago. Best of luck in the future.

Dear Mark, Bryce, and Ralph. It was an honor to know Admiral Morris. I met him while living in Juno Isles and got to know him through the Republican Party. We watched President George Bush's State of the Union speech together and I learned all about the Admirals' appointment. Admiral Morris was responsible for helping me to attain a handsome scholarship this fall. He was a great American and will be missed. I am thankful for a brief encounter with someone Americans should try to emulate.

Dear Mark & Bryce-
Your father was a very special man. He and your beloved mother were very good to me and my husband, Ed. They were always very supportive and loving - especially during the difficult times. Please know that we will miss your father as we miss Aunt Roz, but we know they are happy to be together in the next life. God Bless you and keep you, Uncle Tom.
Love always, Elenita, Ed and Mia

On behalf of the Hitchiti Dancers of the Order of the Arrow and Venture Crew 157, I want to express our feeling of having lost a real friend and supporter. Admiral Morris has helped us in so many ways but most of all he always had the time to let us know that we were important to him. We will all miss him.

To the Morris Family:

I just want you to know how much the Admiral meant to me and my family. He helped so many people. He gave so much to his country and his community. I wish that I am able to accomplish just a quarter of what he has during his lifetime of service. He has been a model of what a great American and great person is to me since I met him when I was only 15. He did not hesitate in helping me and my family over the last 16 years. He will not be forgotten. My family and I will remember him always.
Anchors Aweigh, Sir!

All in the Navy League will miss your darling Dad. My own nicest memory is of his sweet remarks about your mother when receiving a posthumous award to her from the League/Palm Beach Council for her unstinting efforts.
Each time my husband and I had ecounters with him, he was always so very pleasant (and full of good humour). Nice memories.

Dear Mark, Bryce and Ralph, We wanted to express our sincerest sympathy in the loss of your Dad. Although we have only known him for the past 4 years, he made a lasting impression on us as a family for his dedication to you, your mom, our country and those that have and will defend it. He educated so many, his compassion unending, his soul only weakened with the loss of his beloved Rosamond. We welcomed him into our home and embraced him and his memories. He constantly inspired us give more of ourselves to others and to cherish our freedom in this wonderful country in which we live. His memory and the lessons he taught will never leave us. We share in your loss and may God bless you and watch over you during this difficult time.

Admiral Morris was such a wonderful friend and confident to my family. He encouraged my boys in so many ways. Tom was such a motivator and always there when needed. My family will always remember him in our prayers and thoughts and he will be greatly missed by all of us
