David, you are my favorite famous person as I have so much respect, appreciation, and admiration for you well beyond what I would expect in a person. In that way alone I see you as an idol. In retrospect I believe I was looking for someone like you in a potential mate, of course not expecting your great talent, but hey I'd take that too! Who wouldn't want to be serenaded by a heart of gold man with a lovely voice?! "We're puttin' the band back together. We are on a mission for God." Lately thoughts of "John Belushi" saying that has been in my mind, but then I look closer and I imagine pulling off the hat and dark shades and it's you David dressed as John Belushi! You are so funny, always making me smile, and the thought of you coming back here to put the band back together and be on a mission for God is so delightful. That would be so wonderful for so many of us, and think about it, if you were to do just that David you would in fact make all of us Believers! Wouldn't God love that? Gosh, I sure wish he would let you! We surely need you back here. David brought so much joy, laughter, entertainment, hope, and warm fuzzies to me and so many more. David shines brighter than a million watt light bulb and brightens the world with his special gifts. Only David Jones could sing "Cuddly Toy" and make that song a loving delight. Honestly those lyrics are awful, but that's the magical gift of David Jones to sing and dance a joyful performance from that. The Monkees abstract comedy TV show brought us all needed entertainment, a delightful break from reality, and with Davy especially, some delicious eye candy! David was never a coronary, like he joked, and always made my heart throb as his beauty was mostly what shined from the inside out through his lovely eyes, smile, and his heart we could always feel. David, you are so infectious and you infected us all with so many good positive feelings, thoughts, and a desire for me to be my best. You cheered me on, you were my best imaginary friend as a child, and I so thank you for cheering me up and making me a believer in myself. The Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame has no integrity without the Monkees in there and many other deserving bands. I wish you could had finished your Monkees museum. None of us was ready for you to go! David if you can, please come back, put the band back together, be on a mission for God, put both bands back together, and make the world shine! We were born to love one another. This is something we all need. -Peter Tork. The Monkees were never a bubble gum band! David, you were so much more than a handsome face! Luv ya too, and always! Peace and Love. Ooh Ooh, Eee Eee!
