Just read about Leroy's death. Rest in peace. Going to a concert on March 31st to see the Ohio Players. You will be missed.

My heart is saddened. The music i grewup on and introduced to my kids, it was the best and nobody did it better than OP. Thank you Sugarfoot for being so good at what you did. May God comfort and bless those left behind.

RIP SUGARFOOT BONNER. The Ohio Players music wont be forgotten & their style was unique. I never new u but I love you as Jehovah loves all of his children. I remember as a child seeing the Ohio Players playing at a free concert in Cincinnati. The crowd really ejoyed the concert. My favorite song by the Ohio Players to this day is I Want To Be Free. Even though this song is about a relationship where one person wants to be freed this song was song alot by me as a child going thru a horrible childhood.

Sugarfoot inspired me to play guitar, there will never be another who played it like he did. In my eyes we have lost a musical legend...he will be misssed by many. Thank you Sugarfoot for all the wonderful music... rest in peace.
