(nee Catherine Lucia Deibele) Kathryn Gordon, a resident of Singer Island, FL passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 3, 2012 surrounded by loved ones. Born in North Dakota and raised in Portland, OR, Kathryn met her future husband, Charles Gordon who was then serving as a lieutenant in the United States Navy during World War II. The two married in 1948 and remained married for sixty-four years. They settled in Pepper Pike, OH where Kathryn was a homemaker and church volunteer, active in raising funds for charity. Kathryn is survived by Charles and their three daughters, Leslie Gordon of Bedford, OH; Susan Gordon Barnhart of Palm Beach, FL and Rinda Gordon Rosenberg of Coral Springs, FL. Kathryn was blessed with five granddaughters, Katherine, Caroline, and Forrest Barnhart and Alyssa and Erin Rosenberg. Kathryn is also survived by her brother, Charles (Bud) Deibele of Portland, OR. A private memorial was held on Wednesday, November 7, 2012. Katherine is in our hearts forever.
