Walter was one of the first people we met at Hope Christian Church when we first started attending. He was always busy assisting in the maintance of God's Church, always helping wife Carol with decorations for special events at Hope. One of the times I remember was when I found him working on the lights of the outside cross on the church front. Though Walt had a tough time even walking, he was working to get the cross lights operating again, more than 10 feet up an extension ladder, with out requesting help of a younger more able person. Just showing his love for how God had Blessed his life since serving our Country during WWII though pain was always in his body.
Joan & I both loved Walter and you Carol, we know he is sitting next to our Lord watching over his family and many friends.
Our Love for you Carol & Family;
Walter was a very special man. He loved the Lord and showed his love by loving others. I will always remember his dedication to his country and his love for family and friends.
Walter you will be missed by all who knew and loved you. You are the best of the best. I am so proud to have called you my friend. I love you and will miss your hugs and smiles.
I will miss my older brother very much.
Next to my own father, this man was one of the greatest men that I was blessed to know. Walk without pain with the Lord Uncle Walt.
Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
