Dave Brubeck the true musician. God has taken Dave away from us but his recordings will be with us forever. This man contributed so much to Music. I was a young teenager and everyone was flipping on the Rock idols I first heard Dave in l956 and right then and there I heard and saw the Difference from listening to a Musical Jazz Genius. Thank you Dave Brubeck for making me attracted to JAZZ and your style which was way way above all the current nonsense that the disc jockeys were promoting. Right now Dave our BELOVED Dave Brubeck is in heaven with all the heavy weight Jazz pianists. i can now see and envision Dave with ART TATUM OSCAR PETERSON GEORGE SHEARING man can you imagine all of Daves buddies right up there with him? Love you and admire you DAVE for everything you have done for Jazz. Truly a Musical GENIUS that will forever and ever be remembered.
